A THURSDAY SOAKER!
As Thursday comes to an end, our nor’easter continues dumping buckets of rain across the region. Over 5″ of rain has fallen in Plymouth, over 4″ on the Vineyard, and nearly 3″ in Boston as a result of this storm! For reference, our May average is around 3.5″ for the entire month.
SHOWERS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
Plan on showers Friday morning and Friday night. Luckily, the intensity of the rain should be on the lighter end. This should also leave some dry time and perhaps a peek of sunlight in the afternoon.
A spot shower is still possible early on Saturday, but we’ll be on track for mostly dry conditions. By Sunday all outdoor plans look ok, though you’ll still see much more cloud cover than sunshine out there.
MEMORIAL DAY
Right now, the forecast for Memorial Day is promising. Expect partly cloudy skies and pleasant highs near 70 degrees. A pop up shower in the afternoon remains a slim possibility, but one that we will monitor.
It stays warm and dry through at least Tuesday!
