SOGGY START
Shower will last through mid-morning in the Boston area and through late morning in parts of southeastern MA. Partial sun will develop from the north and west and gradually push southeastward. Plan on a pleasant afternoon in Boston and Metrowest reaching highs in the low to mid 70s.
Beachgoers be ready for wind 10-20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph (strongest on Cape Cod). Wave 3-5 will keep the water active with elevated concerns for rip currents on the Cape, Islands, and South Coast. The Cape will probably stay drizzly, if not showery, through lunchtime.

Bright weather will last all weekend with 70s Saturday and 80s Sunday. Humidity will be low and you’ll have no weather issues in your outdoor plans. Just remember to slather on lots of sunscreen!
