AHEAD OF THANKSGIVING
Today will stay cool and dry. Expected upper 40s under mostly sunny skies this afternoon.
Clouds will increase tomorrow ahead of a warm front. That milder air will push temperatures back into the lower 50s. Showers should hold off until just AFTER the evening commute with rain arriving any time around 7 PM. We’ll see 0.2-0.5″ overnight across southern New England.
It won’t be a washout or rain everywhere Wednesday, but we will have some hit-or-miss showers around. Temperatures will be the warmest of the week in the mid-upper 50s!
THANKSGIVING & BEYOND
Thanksgiving Day looks cooler and drier with all day 40s, so dress warmly if you’re heading out for a morning turkey trot or football game. Wind will increase a bit too, gusting 20-30 mph.
Cold will peak Friday and Saturday. Black Friday shoppers be warned: gusts 30-40 mph and cold will result in wind chills in the 20s most of the day. Brrr! Be on the lookout for a flurry or two.
