Sanders rallies Keene, N.H. voters after narrow defeat in Iowa

KEENE, N.H. — Bernie Sanders is on the rise in New Hampshire even after a loss to Hillary Clinton in Iowa.

Considering that few in Iowa had even heard of the Vermont senator with a Brooklyn accent six months ago his near split with Clinton is being looked at as a win.

Tuesday Sanders was back in the Granite State at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, just a few miles from his home state.

The house was so packed that the fire marshal had to turn people away.

At the rally he spoke about his plans if he were to become president and called the campaign a political revolution.

“Last night we came back from a 50 point deficit in the polls and last night we began the political revolution, not just in Iowa, not just in New Hampshire, but all over the country,” he said/

Sanders is considered a favorite in New Hampshire, and he will need to win to bolster his chances in states where there may be less familiarity with his name.
