Police identify 18-year-old victim of deadly Mattapan shooting

BOSTON — Authorities identified the teenage victim of a deadly shooting in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on Thursday night.

According to police, Leroy S. Ryner, 18, of Roxbury, was shot at the intersection of Morton Street and W. Selden Street around 10:31 p.m.

He was transported by Boston EMS to Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation and have not reported any arrests.
