BOSTON — One person has been hospitalized after an early morning shooting in Hyde Park.
According to Boston police, around 1:52 a.m. officers responded to the area of 124 Wood Avenue for a Shot Spotter activation.
Upon arrival, officers located ballistic evidence on the scene but no victim. While officers were on scene, they were told that at around 3:10 a.m. a person had been shot in a vehicle at the intersection of Hyde Park Avenue and Everett Street.
Officers observed multiple bullet holes in the vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation determined the person had been shot on Wood Avenue.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
