Multiple crews respond to Haverhill apartment complex for fire

HAVERHILL, Mass. — Numerous fire crews responded to a Haverhill apartment complex on Sunday night.

According to the Haverhill Fire Chief Robert O’Brien, crews were ordered to 18 Forest Acres Drive around 7:56 p.m. to reports of a working fire.

Once on scene, arriving crews were met with people outside the building saying there was a fire inside the apartment complex. Crews entered the building to find the fire on the second floor. The fire was able to be contained.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, with two people being transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

There is no further information at this time.
