Mass. State Police trooper hurt after crash in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Mass. — A Massachusetts State Police trooper was injured in a crash in Plymouth on Sunday morning.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. when the trooper’s cruiser struck a guardrail on Route 25 West in Plymouth.

The trooper’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, police say.

A department supervisor will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

At this time, police have not released additional details or what caused the crash.
