IPSWICH, Mass. — Several first responders were able to rescue a horse that became trapped in a ditch on the North Shore Friday.
Ipswich Police, Ipswich Department of Public Works, Ipswich Fire Department and Ipswich Regional Animal Control all worked together to remove the equine.
“After careful planning and teamwork we are happy to report the horse was pulled up to safety and shortly after was back up on his feet with no injuries to all the first responders and horse! Great job by all!” Ipswich police posted.
