Canadian man driving Ferrari arrested for speeding 111 mph in New Hampshire

TAMWORTH, N.H. — A Canadian man was arrested for speeding more than 100 mph on Route 16 in New Hampshire, state police said Tuesday.

Xinnan Yan, 27, of Markham, Ontario, Canada, was arrested on a charge of reckless driving, state police said.

Yan was transported to the Troop E barracks in Tamworth and later released on personal recognizance bail.

At 6:01 p.m. Friday, Trooper First Class Eric Call was on patrol in Tamworth when he saw a 2024 Ferrari SF9, driven by Yan, traveling northbound at 111 mph in a posted 55 mph zone, state police said.

Yan is scheduled to appear in Ossipee District Court on Oct. 29.
