FALMOUTH, Mass. — A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
According to Falmouth Police, on Sunday, January 12 around 6:36 p.m. Falmouth Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian crash at the intersection of Gifford Street and Dillingham Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a 73-year-old male pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle. The operator of the vehicle remained on the scene and rendered aid to the victim until EMS arrived.
The pedestrian was transported to Falmouth Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
