Amphibious plane crashes into N.H. lake

RINDGE, N.H. — The FAA is investigating after an experimental amphibian aircraft landed on a lake in Rindge and flipped over.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Lake Monomonac near Conifer Road.

FOX25 has learned there were two people on board, and a witness said they were both rescued by a private boat with only minor injuries.

The plane is registered to a man from Rindge, and the FAA reports that the pilot frequently lands on the lake.
